ICC U19 World Cup 2024 Schedule
The competition begins on Friday, 19th of January. There will be multiple stages and the group stage runs till Sunday, Jan 28th. Then comes the Super 6 stage featuring from 30th January till 3rd February. The semis are to be played on February 6th & 8th. Meanwhile, the competition will end on the 11th of February.

U19 World Cup 2024 Format
In the group stage, all 4 groups will feature 4 teams and 3 sides from each group will qualify for the Super 6 stage. That means a total of 12 teams will reach the Super6 stage while all the bottom sides from 4 groups will be placed in the placement stage. A4 will face D4 while B4 will take on C4.
All qualified teams will carry forward the number of points, Wins, and NRR against their fellow super-six qualifying teams. The top 3 teams of each of Group A & Group D will be in the Super6’s Group 1. Similarly, the qualified sides from Group B & Group C will be in the Super6’s Group 2.
In the Super6 stage, Each team will play 2 games against the opponent from the corresponding group with different positioning. For instance, A1 will play D2 & D3. On the contrary, A2 will play D1 & D3. Moreover, A3 to take on D1 & D2. Finally, the top 2 sides from each of Group 1 & Group 2 will reach the semifinal stage.

Who is hosting the Under-19 World Cup 2024? South Africa has the privilege to host the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2024. The country has previously hosted this competition twice. The Proteas had been the home sides for this event for the first time back in 1998. Then they repeated it yet again in 2020. And this time it will be the 3rd time they are hosting this age-level global cricket competition.

5 different venues will host the games of the Under 19 World Cup 2024. Willowmoore Park in Benoni will have the privilege to host both the semifinals as well as the final of this tournament.
